This paper describes the development of a Gasohol reservoir for the cold engine start-up, for Alcohol or Gasohol fueled vehicles. The reservoir was designed and installed in vehicles which allows the delivery of Gasohol to the combustion chamber during cold engine start-up. For this paper, the abbreviation of CSS will be used to designate the cold start system in it's entirety.Assumptions are that the engine management system is modified to control the Gasohol delivery and to manage the transition from the Gasohol start condition back to normal operation on Alcohol or Gasohol.
