An accelerated aging test is needed to predict the weatherability of pigmented plastics. There are many different laboratory tests used in the industries to serve this purpose, however, very little solid evidence has been gathered to draw correlations between these tests and field performance. This study shows an approach in establishing the meaningfulness of the Carbon Arc Weatherometer test in terms of real world product performance.
