An analysis of the forces acting on a three-axle vehicle resulted in a computer program that calculated tire forces and minimum turning circle diameter. The computer program is a valuable design tool because changes in steering geometry can be quickly evaluated. The effect on tire forces and turning circle diameter can be readily determined.
