With the ever increasing requirement to limit equipment downtime and increase productivity, quick accurate troubleshooting of low power becomes imperative. This paper links information between the traditional service literature for the Cummins Diesel Engine and the General Electric Statex FL 191 Electric Drive System. Consideration must be given to how the two systems react to one another in their operating environment. The information aids in troubleshooting the two components when used together in haul truck applications.
