Four techniques for accelerated life and reliability testing of mechanical units are presented, consisting of the Inverse-Power Law, the Weibull Stess-Life, the Combined-Stress Percent-Life, and the Deterioration Monitoring techniques. These are time and cost efficient and effective techniques for mechanical as well as non-mechanical parts, components, equipment, and structural members. These techniques are quantified and their applications are illustrated with four examples so that the reader can conveniently apply them.
