Serviceable spacecraft fluid systems require component designs that facilitate on-orbit maintenance. In response to this need, Moog has developed a modular fluid interface utilizing a unique disconnect technology that has improved performance characteristics such as reliability, safety, pressure drop and spillage. This paper outlines the state of this technology, including data generated by in-house testing, in addition to industry and government evaluation.
