The Boeing Vertol Company has embarked on a company-sponsored development of an advanced-composite technology demonstration helicopter - the Model 360. The design features composite high-speed rotor blades, rotor hubs, transmission housings, drive shafts, fuselage, control, and landing gear components, integrated with an advanced flight control system and a state-of-the-art, night vision goggle compatible cockpit with a multiplexed control/display system. This paper describes the cockpit advances incorporated in the Model 360 helicopter.
