The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of the use of the dry paint stripping process in the aircraft industry. It spotlights the major influencing factors o-f three current users in different areas of the industry, specifically, military, commercial airlines and general aviation. It focuses on the cast savings, health, safety- and environmental benefits of the process realized by each user.
