Feasibility of application of solar-powered ventilator in automobile is discussed. The ventilator can effectively prevent the interior temperature of the automobile from rising excessively when the vehicle is soaked in the environment of high solar radiant flux and high ambient temperature. The operating cost of solar-powered ventilator is almost nil. A numberical method developed for determination of the effect of this ventilator on the interior temperature of the automobile is presented and discussed.
