Abstract This paper presents a way of determining the coefficient $ k_{8} $ of the pressure losses $ Δp_{Mp} $ (flow drag) in internal ducts of SWSB-63 hydraulic motor. The coefficient is determined at a flow rate equal to the theoretical capacity $ Q_{Pt} $ of the pump feeding the motor, the losses are related to the nominal pressure $ p_{n} $ in the hydraulic system. The investigations followed a model of energy performance of hydraulic rotary motor, proposed by Z. Paszota.
