Chowdhury discusses the factors that can influence transit users' decisions to make transfers. Four main concerns of the transit users are safety at the transfer point, transfer time, reliability, and information. It is important to understand why users have concerns with making transfers and how this can be addressed by transport authorities, such that users received a transit service that is desirable to them.
