AbstractAn offset-free output feedback robust model predictive control for a generic hypersonic vehicle (HV) under disturbances is investigated. The disturbances are appended to the states of the HV to constitute an extended state, and a full-order nonlinear Luenberger-like observer is designed to estimate the disturbances and states of the HV. The influences of the disturbances on the velocity and altitude are attenuated by the target generator and the model predictive controller based on the estimated disturbances and states. Simulation results show that the velocity and altitude can track the given references accurately under external disturbances and parameter uncertainties.
