One way of reducing the risks orbital debris poses to spacecraft operators is to remediate or “clean up” debris. A piece of debris can be remediated by removing it from space, moving it to avoid collision, or finding a way to recycle it. It is unclear which is the best option, so this panel will explore the trade-offs and move toward developing the best possible portfolio to clean up the orbital environment.
