This paper addresses critical issues for implementation of the technology, mission design constraints, configuration concepts and overall performance characteristics, including results of aerothermal and aerostability analyses, guidance algorithm design and performance, and overall system characteristics. The effort to date has focused on capture at Mars and Titan.
