The effect of wind tunnel walls on the development of flow separation in the wing-fuselage juncture area is assessed using FUN3D’s overset and wind tunnel controller capabilities. The simulation data obtained from the in-tunnel runs are compared with the free-air simulations. The simulation results are also evaluated using measurements from the Juncture Flow Experiment.
