There are similarities and differences between NASA telerobotics technologies currently under development, and the corresponding technologies required for DoD unmanned ground vehicle systems. There are many opportunities for collaboration. Discussed are: program goals, applicable missions, planetary surface exploration technology needs, microinstruments, space station robotics, mine detection, etc.
