Binocular torsional eye positions in three astronauts during one month in space showed major changes in comparison with preflight positions. The eyes were separately reset from the reference values recorded at the baseline ground-based facilities. Post-flight ocular counter-rolling in response to static tilt of 30 deg to the right and left was measured. None of the astronauts were observed to display symptoms of space motion sickness (SMS). None of the findings could be correlated with the presence or absence of SMS.
