Feedback maximized in desired frequency ranges. Four of Bode integrals constitute basis of method of optimizing design of feedback control system. Integrals express frequency-domain relationships among, and constraints upon, various measures of attenuation and phase in feedback amplifiers. Applicable to similar magnitudes and phases in feedback control systems. Also used to design feedback compensators to maintain stability and performance in presence of disturbances, noise, and uncertainties in characteristics of plant to be controlled.
