Applications of the spherical-triangles method for determining ground-trace intersections of multiple spacecraft are considered. The results derived from this procedure are inconsistent with the actual ephemeris data. It is found that an alternative method based on the ground track equations provides more accurate results, is more easily implemented, and is computationally less intensive.
