Classification of all compensators stabilizing given plant in linear, time-invariant, multiple-input/multiple-output feedback system developed. Necessary and sufficient conditions for stability examined via Q and R. Classification made according to stability conditions of compensators and plant by themselves, while necessary and sufficient conditions based on stabilities of Q and R by themselves.
