A J-band, space-fed transmissive array suitable to the constraints of space platform applications has been designed and an engineering model array has been fabricated and tested. Attention is given to the design of the aperture, radiating element, phase shifter module, and flatplate feed. Test results and performance are discussed with reference to gain, sidelobe level, and beamwidth as functions of frequency and scan angle.
