An attempt is made to provide an overview of activities going on in NASA from aeronautics to manned space flight, to exploration of other planets. The discussion focuses on the Space Shuttle, the unmanned spacecraft Seasat program, the exploration of other planets in the solar system, a water-cooled helmet, and some breakthroughs in medical diagnostic instrumentation.
