Description of the OSO spin-stabilized spacecraft capable of conducting eleven experiments in studying the sun, the earth, and other space objects. The OSO provides controlled electric power, thermal control, a telemetry and command interface, tape-recorded data storage, and precisely timed orbital and orientation information. A chart indicating experiments carried out on nine OSO missions is included.
