Range and Doppler measurements for the Mariner 6 and 7 spacecraft are described. The Doppler tracking system and the two systems of spacecraft ranging apparatus being used in the Deep Space Network are illustrated. Charged particle calibration is considered. Equipment characteristics are presented for the ranging apparatus.
