The Federal Aviation Administration's FY 2001 President's Budget requests $11.222 billion, an increase of $1,281 million from the FY2000 enacted level. This budget continues funding agency programs entirely from Airport and Airway Trust Fund resources derived from exicse taxes and cost-based user fees. The budget also assumes the collection of $22 million in overfight fees for services provided by the FAA that will be used for the Essential Air Sercice (EAS) program.
