This report discusses the flow over various missile configurations with and without fins. Attention has been restricted to transonic flight conditions and to slender bodies at small incidence. Various rear-end geometries are treated, including boattail and flare configurations. The effect of plume induced separation is also included so that realistic estimates of the forces on the body can be made. It is shown that the agreement between theory and experiment is adequate for engineering calculations. (Author)
