The report describes the proposal to complete an important segment of State Route 95, beginning at Lake Havasu City, Mohave County, Arizona, extending northerly through that city and ending approximately one mile south of Interstate and Defense Highway 40 in Mohave County, Arizona. Surfacing will be asphaltic concrete. The purpose of these projects is the completion of another link of the State highway system to better serve National, State and local traffic requirements. The local needs are extremely important; improved access to the London Bridge and to all of the existing and planned facilities will be vitally necessary as the tourist, commercial and recreational traffic increases. The commitment to highway use of land for right of way is unavoidable.
