A state-of-technology survey was conducted on stress analysis and measurement techniques for pressure vessels. The purpose of the investigation was to provide current information for the design, construction and certification of high pressure chambers. The survey showed current limitations of these techniques, and ongoing research attempting to advance the stress analysis/measurement techniques. (Author)
