The project identifies the capabilities of satellite remote sensor data for monitoring pipeline right-of-ways (ROW) and identifying third-party activities. Benefits include the use of satellite and aerial remote sensor data for detection of change in and around a pipeline ROW, production of map or alignment sheets, data inputs to Integrated Spatial Analysis Technique (ISAT) systems, monitoring of pipeline ROW integrity, evaluation of ROWs following floods or earthquakes, identification and storage of data on cultural and natural resource features, production of data sheets from ISAT for planning purposes and use by field crews.
