The report introduces the supply and demand of freight transport in 11 ports in the Oslofjord- region. The freight transport in the 11 ports was 35 mill tons in 1997. 38% of the freight transport is domestic freight, 32% export and 30% import. 27% of the freight transport is general cargo and the rest bulk transport. Grenland port with 7.5 mill tons in export and import is the biggest import and export port in the region. The import and export in Grenland port are close to 80% higher than the figures for the port of Oslo.
