Procedures for the calculation of ship motions and sea loads on ship proceeding in oblique regular waves with six degrees of freedom are given. The results, compared with results of model experiments for two ships, seem to be satisfactory for the lower frequencies of encounter, i.e. for the larger wave lengths.Correlation for the higher frequencies was not possible because the model results were not yet available.
