This report describes development aimed at producing an optical fiber communication link between a missile and its launch point for transmission of TV data from the missile to the launch point and command signals in the reverse direction. Optical fibers having a loss of 30 db/km were fabricated that were paid out from a spool at speeds of greater than 300 ft/sec.
