The purpose of this paper is to: (a) Describe the manner in which the total spin program is conducted for and by the U. S. Navy. (b) Describe the U. S. Navy's experiences in spin testing. (c) Provide useful information to those engaged in spin testing to supplement that presented in Chapter 8 of the AGARD Flight Test Manual. (Author)
