The N. C. State Highway Commission proposes to construct a highway improvement for US 64 between Rosman and Brevard, a distance of about 6.2 miles. The adverse environmental effects are the project will require the displacement of an estimated 25 families and 4 businesses, and require the commitment of approximately 300 acres of timberland and farmland to the transportation network.
