Drag data at zero lift of a swept-back wing with inverse taper were obtained by radar tracking of a rocket-propelled winged body moving at supersonic speeds. Tests show that for Mach number range investigated, tapered wing produces values of drag coefficient that averaged about 30 percent lower than those of 34 Degrees swept-back untapered wing and about 20 percent higher than those of 45 Degrees swept-back untapered wing. The specimen was propelled by a 3.25' diameter MK 7 aircraft rocket motor.
