A series of rocket launcher tests was made at the U. S. Naval Ordnance Test Station during the period June to December 1963. These tests were conducted to obtain information and data on rocket launcher firing characteristics for use in investigating and correcting launcher deficiencies reported by the Fleet, to determine the adequacy of proposed launcher design changes or material substitutions, and to determine the adaptability of the launchers to various aircraft.
