This document contains the proceedings of the 34th Annual NASA Aerospace Battery Workshop, hosted by the Marshall Space Flight Center on November 27-29, 2001. The workshop was attended by scientists and engineers from various agencies of the U.S. Government, aerospace contractors, and battery manufacturers, as well as international participation in like kind from a number of countries around the world. The subjects covered included nickel-hydrogen, lithium-ion, lithium-sulfur, and silver-zinc technologies. Intel i486 processor-based personal computer (Pentium or better recommended); Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or later (English language versions only); 8 MB of RAM on Windows 95 and Windows 98 (16 MB recommended); 16 MB of RAM on Windows NT (24 MB recommended); and 10 MB of available hard drive space.
