The report contains a conceptual method to select a fixed time ocean weather route with minimal fuel consumption under certain constraints, being that: the ship is to be navigated via a prefixed grid of points, while the ship is to sail with a (set of) propeller(s) with a constant rotating frequency N and a constant pitch P. The method is designed for a discrete navigating system, formed by a given prefixed grid of points, via which the ship is to be routed. The method can thus be seen as an application of Bellman's theory on Dynamic Programming.
