This report contains the test procedures, test setup, and test results from two crash tests performed at the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Federal outdoor Impact Laboratory (FOIL) located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, Virginia. The purose of the tests was to evaluate the safety performance of a portable work-zone sign trailer currently used by the State of Montana. The tests were also conducted to provide computer simulation engineers with electronic crash test data from a small car collision with a small portable sign support.
