The authors discuss radio-relay communication lines and their effectiveness in railroad transports. The need for radio-relay equipment in RF band operation and specifications for several types of radio-relay systems are delineated, i.e., the six-channel frequency-multiplexing equipment and the six-channel time multiplex system.
