The Coal Supply and Transportation Model projects distribution patterns of coal supply and intermodal movements of coal. Both rail and water movements are represented covering all major U.S. rail lines and barge or collier routes. Rail shipments are differentiated by sector and various adjustments are possible for coal cleaning, use of compliance coal, etc. A complete set of reports are produced showing detailed shipments, production, and transportation routes. Information on steam and metallurgical coal exports is also available.
