Today, the need to produce the performance figures of newly manufactured aircraft puts pressure on fast delivery and strict guarding of these performance figures to reduce the time between completion of new aircraft and the moment of delivery to an airline. This means that time for production flight testing must be minimized while the accuracy of the performance figures must preferably be increased, or at least stay at the same level. With this goal in mind, a measurement system has been developed under contract with Fokker for the production flight tests with the Fokker 50 and the Fokker 100 production aircraft, consisting of three modules: the Data Acquisition Module, the Data Processing Module and the Data Validation and Presentation Facility. In this paper the Data Acquisition Module and the Data Processing Module of the measurement system will be briefly described.
