The proposed projects outlined on the Airport Layout Plan include: Extension of the northwest-southeast runway to 4,000 feet in length and 75 feet in width, and the paving of said runway; Paving and extension of a north-south runway, 3,200 feet long by 75 feet in width; The paving of taxiways and aprons and the installation of runway edge lighting and taxiway lighting. The extensions and paving projects are necessary in order to allow light twin-engine aircraft to utilize this airport and to make the airport an all-weather facility. The planned improvements will make this airport conform to the standards of a general utility airport. (Author)
