The report promotes an understanding of V/STOL analysis for simulation purposes and develops equations of motion compatible to either analogue or real time digital solution. A general set of equations of motion are developed in which axis systems and aerodynamic coefficients are minimized. Equations of motion are then developed for five different V/STOL aircraft wherein the need for additional axis systems and aerodynamic coefficients for a particular V/STOL configuration is developed.
