This document outlines the Helicopter Slung Load Simulation (HSLSIM) Toolbox which is a set of utilities for the simulation, analysis and display of the flight-dynamic response of helicopters with various external load configurations within the MATLAB(Registered trademark) software environment. Instructions and examples are provided for its operation and subsequent modifications. The helicopter studied is the CH-47D, with the load types including rectangular and cylindrical containers as well as plate and airfoil shapes.
