The Microglider project at UC Berkeley aims at designing an autonomous, palmsized glider to serve as a test-bed for minimum sensor flight control. In order to quickly test and refine the flight control strategies of the microglider, a software tool is presented here which simulates the microglider in flight. The simulated glider is tested using ocelli and optical flow sensors, and a discrete motion control strategy is designed and refined.
