A microcomputer that communicates to traffic measuring devices (Golden River and TRIAQS) via RS 232 port is equipped to emulate a 3278 workstation. The mainframe's program was modified and a different emulation package employed now enables file transfers. New lap top microcomputers configured as TRIDAQS units now collect and process travel time data in four Districts.
