To develop a small farm mechanization working system under the requirement of low-energy investment, an improvement on the universal traveling vehicle which was preliminarly constructed in the first year of the project. Some amendments on mechanical drive system, and electric control hydraulic operating steering system have studied and carried out under the considerations of trafficability and maneuverability along with a low-cost probability. The individually rotatable legs of the vehicle indicates the possibility of turning direction on the spot so as the turning radius is nearly to be zero. This unique steering method is to be expected in precise operating application, even if in remote control. Besides of the Front and/or Rear Wheel Steering, Crab or Coordinated Walking selection are available to promote the diversification in farming operation.
