Construction is proposed of a one-story general industrial-type building with a two-story office wing, to serve as the main Honolulu, Hawaii, Post Office. Adverse environmental impacts of the project are an increase in automotive traffic resulting from the operation of the new facility, various short-term effects during the construction period and its traffic additions, and the loss of four large palm trees presently on the project site.
