Measurement of forces and air pressures experienced between the forward slipper and rail on a monorail rocket sled between M = 1.00 and M = 3.00 are presented. Predictions of vertical impact force and frequency are derived. Aerodynamic brake performance is evaluated. An extruded aluminum telemetry pallet and isolation system design and performance are described. (Author)
